Automotive Training Program
The Auto Service program at the Pohanka Training Center is designed to develop and maintain a workforce of trained and competent technicians.
Students will be provided with a $1500 tool set that the company will remain the owner of until a 3-year employee contract is completed.
The program cost to the student is paid for in full under a company program as long as the student meets all of the obligations under the training contract.
The course will have a duration of 84 weeks that will consist of six eight-week courses that will be taught with approximately 50% in class time and 50% of hands-on shop training.

How It Works
The Automotive training program at Pohanka, will train students for the career of Certified Automotive Technician. This will allow students to work in the field of transportation and the automobile service industry. As part of the program, students are given the opportunity to learn to use specialized equipment and tools as well as late model vehicles.
